Lol đ
Well if they're harassing her like that couldn't she just report it to the manager. Realistically speaking, if she's the most popular member by far, then she should have huge sway in the idol group...
Well, the other option is the option that she chose which is just to ditch the group since she's apparently good enough on her own.
Also this episode is a little weird. First we got a thunderstorm brewing, which I feel like pretty rare in Detective Conan episodes, and then we get a scene of Ran changing. What's going on?
And the case is very different from normal huh. But it's probs as normal as it gets.
Also LOL THE ENDING AHAHA. The voice actress must've had fun doing that lmao.
I´ll admit that I don´t know about Japanese agency because I´m a K-Pop fans, but for Korean, reporting to the agency or manager sheldom did any good because all they care was that the group as whole was doing good. As long as the members could faked a brotherly/sisterly relationship in public, they didn´t care what shit happened behind the camera. Often, it took years and the idols leaving the agency for the real situation to came to the light (and they usually sign a 5 years or so contract after debut so unless they prepared to go to the court and paid a huge sum of money, they´re stuck for the contract period). Of course if the bullying was so obvious, the bullies would get a warning as well, but more like "Don´t let outsiders knew what happened here" warning.
Plus the agency got a big say in the idol´s life, especially rookie idols, so her doing acting probably not entirely her decision too.
Yea. I think the issue I had here was that she was apparently the (by a long shot) most popular member.
It should've been clear to the producers/managers that when literally nobody forms a line anywhere but in front of her that clearly the group is spearheaded by one individual.
As for management, I doubt it differs TOO much, but that's true. Most management does not care because splitting the group up could spell complete disaster and they would rather keep it under the rug.
As for the episode here, she had the option of just quitting the group and pursuing a career somewhere else. Acting was probably not her own decision but suggested by her agent. Still, the episode portrays it as partially if not fully her decision. Well, the idol industry is quite the brutal one anyways.
Even tho its a dumb filler! this episode crack the shit out of me AHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
WHEN THE DUDE REALIZED THE GIRL WAS AN AIRHEAD!!! HAHAHAHAHAAHAH MAJOR LAUGHS FOR ME HAHAHA
edit: damn.. i got goosebumps on the end XD
Yeah
đľ She's a runner, she's a track star đľ
in kitten heels even! ;) heh! ;)
this case is so ridiculously stupid lmao
Yeah
kakurai kayoko, what a good name ahahahahah
wth bullies
that industry is toxic af :(
artists dragging each other down, jealousy, fake friendships, etc.
Yeah I know
Should I be glad that there's no murder scene in this episode? Really... this is pretty random.
I can't even...
One of the dumbest filler episodesâI get it canât always be a murder-of-the-week episode where Conan catches a killer but this is like garbage-tier material. The story writing here just irked me: for instance, the caterpillar-turning-into-butterfly trope was annoying with the numerous, unnecessary, smack-dab-in-your-face shots of the bug; the unnecessary scene of Ran mid-changing; the over dramatization of the thunder scenes and the policeman going, âNo, that canât be! Sheâs not an airhead!â (Um, dude, chill, itâs not the end of the world); and the weird phrasing of âRan, where did her tears fall when you saw her inside the car?â (My smart-ass self wouldâve been, âUmm, they fell on the floor? Ya know, cuz gravity?â Until I realized Conan meant the shoesâŚ), such a redundant way of asking, âwhat kind of shoes was the idol wearing?â. (ďźâ¸á) â_â
What did just happen?
He went from cute to weirdo real quick
0:18-0:28 play the dejavu song from initial D its so fitting
Filler episode that Iâm probably not caring after I finished it
lol considering we haven't had a Kogoro goes Mori Moronic over Okino YĹko moment for many MANY episodes (O.Y. was last seen in a speaking role beyond background TV/music etc. moments in eps822-23). Shinichi lecturing one of Kogoro's fellow idol otaku over the cop's views on his fave gal... was downright dramatically HILARIOUS! :D
hmmm! Kogoro's fave poster of O.Y. has been missing from its wall in his office for a while too! i wonder if that's a TMS background artists'/screenwriters' silent nod to the events in 822-23 where she was 'possibly' dating that soccer player who was an alumnus of her high school? or is it because the walls of Kogoro's office have been growing gradually less and less detailed? with more blurry generalized 'shapes' of objects than actual clear and concise lines and colors. i'm beginning to think that TMS ONLY cares about the kanji in the windows, the rug and two couches, their accompanying coffee table, Kogoro's desk, and his office chair.
Welp, Rumi's up next đ
Yeah I know
hey Wiz, this OP, what do you think of the English letter D and B shaped erosion prevention boulders in the foreground of the frame at 0:50?
They better be preparing some damn good episodes if they are releasing this episode.
Hopefully
Such a weird ep haha, I liked the added metamorphosis of the caterpillar to a butterfly though, it was nice symbolism.
